Not Your Average Day at Church

Last Sunday was Palm Sunday. David's parents invited us to their church because they had live animals at the service and a petting zoo. The kids were just as excited about this as you can imagine. Several of them got to carry the animals in the procession into the church! What a special day! After the service, we went out to the petting zoo so Aubrey could get an up close look at the animals. She was SO excited. Here are a few pictures:

She was really into the chickens...Papa Jack has taught her all about how they flap their wings and cluck. She likes to imitate this and did it in the petting zoo.

Daddy had to chase down some of the bunnies for Aubrey to have a closer look...
It is a bit hard to tell, but this is Aubrey looking at a brown bunny...
This little pig was definitely her favorite animal there. She kept saying "onk, onk".
